A world in crisis

A question I am frequently asked; what is happening to our world, its societies, its institutions, its nations?  What is going to happen in the coming years if change continues at its current pace? Around us everywhere we can see change. The old ways, traditions, are breaking down and a new order is taking its place.

When change becomes necessary there will always be resistance from those who benefit from the way things are, causing the sort of crisis we are now living through.  It is not the ones wanting change who cause the crisis but those who resist change. Nothing is static, life, time, space are continuously changing and we are inseparable from the energy of change.  We are moving into a new age, a new era as we pass out of the cosmic month of Pisces and into the cosmic month of Aquarius. These changes have been happening over many years but in recent months the rate of change has increased. We are about to witness many situations which until now had been kept hidden by financial and political interests.  This accelerated breakdown of national and social structure is being replaced by a new and global interactive system.

The cause is a shift in cosmic energy.

A cosmic month is about 2100 years and based on evidence, first recognized over 90,000 years ago, that the earth is on a cyclic path around the heavens. This journey that takes about 25800 years during which time it passes through each of the 12 constellations or as they are better known, signs of the Zodiac.  Each of the constellations has its own unique energy pattern and as the earth is drawn to pass through these energy patterns the life on our world cannot help but be influence by the power of these magnetic energies. Each of the 12 constellations will therefore influence development and evolution on earth for a period of around 2100 years.  We will finally have passed out of the age of Pisces and into the age of Aquarius in 2011.  We therefore need to know something of the affects the new energies will have on our lives. Pieces has been a period of personal growth affecting individuals, societies, institutions and nations. The past 2100 years have seen a rise in personal freedoms, growth in institutions and a need for individual expression. Individuals, societies, nations, political and financial groups everywhere have fought for independence to replace dependence. While accepting that free thinking and independence are good for personal and national growth it has led to an almost manic obsession to grow and acquire at the expense of others. A point has been reached when growth and independence can only be achieved at the expense of another’s loss. 2100 years of Pisces has created a selfishness at all levels of the intellectual free thinking world.

The purpose of life in human form is to create a unique personality. To move from group energy to become an individual with a free thinking mind within the energy of a state of love. The age of Pisces has been one which has seen the development of personal love, an emotional energy which is very selective. Everything about the past 2100 years has been divisive for the growth of individual and national interests. The need to know itself through personal responsibility and  independence has created a world that has become insular in its need to know itself. This is the meaning of the Pisces symbol of two fishes swimming away from each other. The drive for self recognition has caused wars, greed, selfishness on a global scale. We have evolved to create the personal, social and national individual but have lost the knowledge and awareness that the individual continues to exist at all levels of creation within a group energy.  Destroy that group existence as we are doing and the sensitive fabric of life’s meaning falls apart and we become lost in the illusion of superiority. The past 2100 years has created the individual personality through the male principle based on domination and self.

All this is changing as we come into the time of Aquarius which is based on the female principle of harmony and peace. Aquarius has the energy of bringing all together. Just as Pieces has divided the world in the quest for individual personality so Aquarius will bring all back together. The big institutes, the great powers, the self interest groups that held the worlds in pieces will dissolve as change sweeps this incredible planet. The world and its life is like a puzzle. 2100 years ago there was a single picture, an age when learning to exist in physical form was all important. Then came a time when the puzzle needed to be broken into its separate parts so that every piece could recognize itself and know of its importance in the picture. But before some of the pieces become lost forever the puzzle needs to be brought back into its original form with every piece interlocking with another. A knowledge that every piece is dependent for its strength on every other piece. The great experience of individuality will not be lost but preserved in the consciousness of the group mind as we move back to a time of oneness.  We are experiencing the crisis of change as humanity begins its move back to a state of oneness, but it will take the full 2100 years before this level of awareness is reached and the next great expansion of consciousness can begin.

Do not be afraid of change but fear instead the lack of change.
