Prediction

I once had a client who was convinced she would die by drowning, not only had she seen this in dreams but a psychic medium had told her that it would happen.

Her husband, lovely man, had a  longing to own a boat so he could go ocean fishing and bought himself the longed for dream. Of course he wanted his wife with him and thought she was being unreasonable when she refused to go on any of his fishing trips.  At this point she came for help to know if what had been predicted was true. During the session she regressed into a past life where she had been drowned falling from a boat.  Her fears were based on the past not the future.

Another client told me during a conversation that she had been told by a medium that she would die at around the age of 40.  Not  wanting to leave her children without a mother she had taken the decision not to have any. Now, age well over 40 she regrets that decision.  Another case of the past presenting itself as the future.

I have many cases of the past presenting itself as the future and it is a very brave medium who can positively say that what they have seen is to be and not what has been.  One lady in particular wanted to know why she was having such a wonderful life. She had a lovely caring husband, no financial problems, two wonderful grown children, beautiful house and more. In other words a life of bliss which she assured me had been like that since she was born.  She went into a state of higher awareness and saw that her next life was going to be the opposite of this one, one full of sadness and worries. Her next  life was one of learning through extreme difficulties. To help her in the life to come the wonderful loving energies of her current life would persist through the difficult life ahead. The love and beauty in her present life would remain somewhere in her deeper thoughts so she would always believe that the future would be better.

 

I know that many will say that what was predicted was correct and happened just as they were told it would. But suggestion is a very powerful force and when the client is inclined to believe what they have been told the power of the mind will cause the suggestion, prediction, to become a truth.  We create much of our future by our own belief systems.

Take the case of the guitar player in his early forties dying of a wasting disease. There were no medical reasons for his condition but he had been told that unless some change took place he would not for very long survive. He regressed to a time when he was 14 watching a  television show of aging pop stars. He remembered thinking  how revolting  they looked, playing and performing as if only 20.  The old musicians incidentally were  40 to 45. He told himself that if he became a musician he would not want to live after reaching 40. So intense had been the thought at the time that it had become part of his deeper belief system. Once he knew the thinking behind his illness he quickly recovered. But this does show how easily we can program conditions and situations into our lives.

Another similar situation is that of a Jewish man who had left his faith to marry a Christian lady. After a short time he began to lose weight which quickly developed into a serious situation. I asked him if he was still eating Kosher food, he smiled, ‘I have no need of that now’ he assured me. I was not convinced. The man may have converted but the deeper mind or child in the man was still a Jew and living by Jewish law. I told him to go back onto Jewish food and habits and he soon recovered his weight and strength.

The sub conscious is the energy of memory without any concept of time. What happened many years ago is as if it was now to the sub conscious. It ignores the present situation and acts on the memory of belief systems entered into when you were only a child. Even past life memories will enter your present day thoughts as I have shown.

 I am often asked about guiding spirits. The personalities who appear as American Indians, Asian Indian, Chinese or someone in a religious order are not guiding spirits as often believed. A spirit of light would have no reason to masquerade in fancy dress and someone who has died and moved to greater awareness would also have no reason to assume a role they once lived. These are often your own past life energies. The personality you created in a past life is not lost; it lives on in your greater awareness and will sometimes be attracted to the energy of your present thoughts because you have a need of the experience once learned. This is what is happening when you are given a prediction, the medium has read your past life thoughts which are close to your present energy.

Spiritually we are a complex mix of past experiences and the life we are living now is being added to the greater personality that we already are. Past life energies are always close but should not be allowed to interfere with our current life experiences. Beware of predictions they could well be the past cloaking themselves as the future.
