The Creative energy of Love

2007 was full of changes, surprises, opportunities and enlightenment. Whether you were able to take advantage of the situations open to you will have depended on how you viewed your personal situation.
Most of the year’s changes and opportunities came from difficulties in life and if you think back many of life’s opportunities came from unforeseen difficulties. It is in situations like this that you either grasp the difficulty and turn it to advantage or sit in the silence of your memories and stagnate in a world that has gone and which nothing can bring back.

In my last news letter I wrote about the three energies of life, instinct, memory and creative energy. Instinct is the driving force which carries us forward from birth to death ensuring that we achieve what we were born to achieve. Sometimes it has to be controlled or held back or we lose that very spiritual part of ourselves, the part that allows free will and decision making. This is when conscience, moral determination is put before instinctive need.
We all too often let the energy of memory hold us from going forward. We allow ourselves to be held in the past. This robs instinct of its vital force for life, health and success. It also prevents the spiritual being that we are to surface and display the creative motivation that is inherent in all of us.

We do not live in the past, though many choose to do so in their memories and thoughts. The spirit that we are has no time for the past; the spirit is a vibrant force of creative energy that finds its release in the future through a world of now. A world which it always wants to change for something better. If we were to live a life of memories and if each generation did not surge forward to change and improve on the past we would still be writing on cave walls.

What I am trying to say is that we are spiritual beings, trying to improve on who we are through the creative energy of love. Creative energy, spiritual energy, is the force that keeps us young in heart and healthy. When we stop thinking about the future in positive terms but yearn for the past we block the instinctive energy of change and the creative element in that change. Our bodies begin to deteriorate, our minds slow down, the past becomes more important than the future and our spiritual souls have nothing to live for. We have ceased to be of value to ourselves or others. The energy of memory drowns the spiritual being that we are.

Being spiritual is being creative but there are those who prefer to destroy rather than create or help others create. They dislike change to the extent that they will destroy all creative imagination. Their minds are barren and they live in a world of memories which produces nothing not even love. They have even destroyed themselves and the creative essence they were born with. Even worse are those who destroy the creative love in children by holding them to a past which is not of the child’s making.

We were born to create with the spiritual energy of love. This creative energy is the energy which drives the universe, both seen and unseen. It is greater than the individual, it is love, it is of God. You have a choice, become one with this energy and feel the drive and the energy of Love for yourself and all life or live in the past and become separated from the divine energy that keeps you young in spirit and part of the Love that makes life interesting and fulfilled.

To be a healer to yourself be the creative energy of Love and cause change where it is needed.
