To Be or Not to BeThat is the decision.With apologies to W. Shakespeare.All life is the coming together at birth of a complex mix of three levels of awareness. This awareness is the result of hundreds of previous lives. All energy is thought induced, the result of how we have lived in the past. First there is the mental or true spiritual mix of energies. This is the total of all that has been good in our previous life experiences. This is love energy and anything not of love is unable to become one with it. This is what we refer to as the spirit, or our higher selves. The second body is the emotional body or astral complex of energies. This body is courser than the mental body because it contains energy of past thoughts that have not contained love. It is the energy of what we call Karma, thoughts which become actions in the human form and which need to be changed to better action and thinking. It is the body we live through after death and before we move to the higher spiritual form. Thirdly there is of course the human body which we recognize as ourselves. This body contains the energy of instinct which is no more than the memory of experience gained over thousands or perhaps even millions of years. This body also contains the energy of other peoples thoughts and experiences caused by close association in life. It is the coarsest of the three bodies and the one in which we can learn and experience love which later is added to the spiritual being we are. All three bodies are built in exactly the same way. As above so below. The only difference is the fineness of the vibration. It is the thoughts we have had that are used to construct the bodies of the future. Of course love will always be a faster vibration containing more light, the more crude or negative thought will be heavier and darker. It is the difference in the vibrations between love and selfishness that cause the energies to separate and form two separate bodies. The third and heaviest, the human form has within it the other two which vibrate at a level which is beyond the perception of human sight. Though sometimes the emotional energy can be seen by those who have an ability to work from the emotional body. Of course they will also be able to see the energy vibrations of the human body, its aura, which is no way should be confused with spiritual energy. It is from this that we get the term spiritual, emotional, and physical. Three separate qualities of energy coming together as the human body which separate out again after death. The spiritual body being the last to become independent as it takes time to separate the thoughts we have been into their respective planes. There are three main forces that cause us to be. Electrical, Magnetic and Electromagnetic. For the ease of explanation I use the term electricity though we are of course referring to something which has no noun in the west, (because most of my readers are from the west I am not going to use unpronounceable eastern words). These are the main forces in all three bodies and the power behind them is in direct relationship to the way thoughts are processed, the way we think. Negative thoughts produce a weak response, positive thoughts a strong response for good or bad. Now to consider how they come together in human form. The spirit that we are, containing all that is good and loving decides on a need to increase its level of love wisdom so that it can advance to higher levels. This is only possible through knowledge and wisdom, the force of experience. It therefore first constructs a body from its own love energy, the spirit at its highest level is without form, being pure energy. This spiritual body is what will descend into an emotional body. This second body is constructed from the negative or destructive thoughts of previous lives which have continued to exist in the astral world. Because the spirit will live in and through this emotional body when it comes to life it must be constructed from his own thought energy of previous incarnations. It is this lesser energy that will hopefully be transmuted to love during the next life time and so help the spirit to advance along the spiritual path. This is the energy known as Karma, cause and affect being worked out to a greater good. We now have two bodies, one spiritual and one emotional. Identical in the way they were created but different in the quality of energies or materials used. The spiritual body is beautiful and represents all that is good, this is a state of being and beyond the fluctuations of emotion. The emotional body is constructed of energy that is less than total love. This is the body of selfishness. The third body is that which we recognize as ourselves, this is built in the same way as the emotional and spiritual bodies but the thought forms with which it is constructed are the energies of instinct. In the broader sense it is what we call inheritance and is built into the complex energy systems of the body. Now we have the three bodies, how do they come together? After conception the baby begins to grow using the energy and inheritance of the two parents. For the first 12 weeks there is no infusion of emotional energy. The emotional body begins its decent into the growing baby at around 10 to 12 weeks. If all is not well in the growing child it is aborted before the emotional body has taken a firm hold. At around 16/18 weeks the prepared emotional body will be fully integrated within the growing baby. The baby continues to develop together with the emotions that will become its personality, its mothers emotions being added to its own. This is the school through which the spirit will learn new wisdom. It is not until birth that the spirit finally descends into the emotional body that is already in the baby. This is not an easy descent for the spirit which at the point of connection with the physical becomes known as the soul. The descent can take many hours which is why after a very fast birth the child and later the adult will not feel grounded and might have many difficulties in life. Of course for a perfect union of spirit, emotion and physical the three have to be electrically in harmony. The energies of the three bodies need to have been built of the same energy materials. The only difference being the rate of vibration between them. The growing body while in the mother has also to be in harmony with the mothers three bodies. It is for this reason that the selected mother for the child will usually have a past life connection. It would take a very strong and independent spirit to overcome any disharmony of its energies between itself and the mother who is caring for it. So comes to physical life another human. A trio of three identical energies with different memory systems. The spirit which is all the best of its past, the emotional which is the more destructive or negative memory of its past and the physical which is the memory of long time past of both parents. For expression and development of love there needs to be communication and interaction with others. When the young adult meets with someone whose matrix of energies are very similar to its own an attraction results. If the attraction is only between the physical energies it becomes physical only and will not last for long. The attraction soon being satisfied. If the attraction also includes the emotional energies of both parties it becomes a longer lasting and deeper relationship. When the matrix of energies of both parties have entered into a magnetic attraction they become bound together, a need, a desire to strengthen the bond becomes central to their survival. The emotional body of both tries to secure for itself the energy of the other to strengthen its feeling of self worth with the energy of the new partner. If this is not a balanced need the one whose need is less will eventually pull away or look for a stronger emotional force. This can happen after a period of a few weeks or after many years. It all depends on the balance between the emotional energies and whether the physical energies are being satisfied. If there is no physical energetic tie the emotional bond and need between the two will have to be very strong to hold them together. The word of course for the emotional bond is love but it has nothing to do with the spiritual sense of the word which is a state of being. Love at the spiritual level is totally different, it is all encompassing, attracting all and everything to its light. Emotional love is especially selective, it can never be as totally attractive as a spiritual attraction which overcomes any physical need. Emotional love will always be looking, consciously or not, for a better and stronger attractive energy with which it can bond. This explanation takes no account of the moral, social, religious, cultural and other rules that have been built into the lives of the different communities. It is here that the spirit has to assert its strength and so add to its power and wisdom to return at the end of life a stronger and wiser light. Any failures ensure another earth bound journey. It is unusual for spirits to be attracted to each other during a physical life because it would serve no purpose. The reason for an earthly experience is to learn from adversity, there is no adversity in spiritual harmony. When this does happen it is referred to as a meeting between twin souls. But is so rare as not to be worth discussion. As life progresses the emotional body is changing due to the new emotions it is building for itself. Some of the emotions will be of love and concern for others. These thoughts will later go to become part of its spiritual existence when, after life, the energies again separate. The courser more selfish thoughts remain as part of the emotional body which exists in the astral world. The emotional body is magnetic, by that I mean it attracts energy to itself. This is the thoughts of others. This is true of all emotion, it is an attractive energy drawing in the thought energy of others from which it can gain experience. Where the spirit is strong and experienced enough to control its own emotions it will have a force equal to the emotional body and be able to resist much of the negative energy that its own emotional body is readily attracting. In other words, when strong enough the spirit will only react to or retain emotional energy that is good for its long term advancement at a spiritual level. The spirit has an electric energy or force which often repels energies, people, which it considers harmful to its long term good. An exceptionally strong spirit will not attempt to attract or repel, it will have a neutral force, allowing others to come and go into its energy if they are able to gain from the experience. In this way life progresses and lessons are learned. The spirit continually trying to overcome the negative survival traits of the emotional body. TO BE CONTINUED. Malcolm Southwood
